Student Life
Events, programs, and services that encourage student involvement in the campus
Library
Library is constructed in the school campus with good collection of latest editions of course books to facilitate students learning. It comprises of Reading Rooms with bench and Table equipped with lighting and fan for self study. Facility for issuing of books for study to the student for limited period are also available.
Computer Lab Facilities
A well equipped computer lab with Internet facility is available in the campus where student can avail facility of data processing, internet browsing with good collection of latest edition of books and journals of both Indian and Foreign publications of Nursing Science.
Laboratory Facilities
The laboratories for Anatomy, Nutrition, Fundamentals of Nursing, Maternal, Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Audio Visual Aids and Computers offer best learning facilities to develop the technical skills before the students have practice on patients.
Clinical Experience
The Clinical Experience of students are offered at Sadar Hospital, Katihar, Primary Health Centre, Katihar and Primary Health Centre, Hasanganj and various Private Nursing Home located at Katihar city where a variety of patients are available for the students to learn different stages of illness and their course of action for the treatment. The school posted Nurse Tutor for guiding the students in all the areas at a ratio of 1 : 10.
Hostel
The hostel provides room/hall, recreation facilities. Sanitary facilities, delicious food facilities, Warden facilities for guiding them as mother and availability of 24 hours water and electric supply. Students seeking accommodation in Hostel will have to deposit Rs 2500/- only as security money which will be refundable without interest after adjusting all due and damages if any and one month lodging and fooding charges require to be paid in advance.
Conveyance And Transport
The school having its own well maintained bus for conveyance of student from school campus to different hospitals, Health Centres for time to time training in clinical aspects of the subject. No extra charges will be taken for such transport.
Faculty
Consistent with the high standard of Excellence aimed at by the school, the Faculty comprises a team of carefully selected and highly qualified well behaved Principal, Sister tutor, office staff, matron, receptionist, peon and guarding staff, who have a proven record of meritorious accomplishments to their credit. The staff strength is as per the rules of the Indian Nursing Council.
Extra Curricular Activities
Curricular and Extra Curricular activities are organized intermittently like Blood Donation Camp, Health Check up Camp, Eye Check up camp in co¬ordination with Youth Red Cross, Lions Club, W.H.O. in which our students participate and acquire their knowledge in various field of health community development programme.
Sports
The indoor games such as Carom-Board, Table Tennis, Chess, Ludo, Badminton etc. are provided in the Hostel within the campus for entertainment to generate competitive nature among the student.
